While it may not sound like the best news you have ever heard, it is the truth: your websites profits will almost always depend on whether or not the search engines like you. They like you, and your site is set up to do very well. But if they do not like you, you are in for a real struggle to make your site a success. Fortunately, search engines do not choose their favorites randomly (even if it might seem that way when you look at the SERPs for your main key word.) Putting a thorough search engine marketing strategy into place is an important part of making your website a search engine "favorite." Need some search engine marketing ideas and tips? Read on below.
1. Use Article Marketing. One of the frequently used search engine marketing techniques is the submission of articles to article directories. There are several reasons for this. For one, doing it is free (if a little time consuming). And it is also one of the most useful search engine marketing techniques out there. Why is that? It is simply because the articles that you submit will be content oriented for your keyword, making each article link relevant to your page or site. And there is almost nothing the search engines like more.
2. Keep Your Content Updated. Updating your sites content is a hugely important part of any search engine marketing strategy... after all, Google loves fresh content. So be sure to come up with a timeline or guideline for putting new content up on your website, and keep at it.
3. Create Better Landing Pages. Even though you might think that the job of your landing page is just to get visitors to stay on your site (or click through), landing pages also fill a search engine marketing role. Because search engines pay attention to user behavior on your pages, having quality landing pages that keep visitors on your site is key to successful search engine marketing. If people who visit your site do not spend any time there before going back to the results to find another site, Google will notice... and will give competing sites the good spots on the SERPs.
4. Read Up on Search Engine News. Though not even the best search engine marketing firms know all the secrets behind Googles algorithms, the search engines do give ideas about what they look for in a site. Keeping track of these changing trends is a key part of successful search engine marketing.
5. Never Forget About Relevance. Backlinks are, of course, a hugely important part of search engine marketing. However, relevance comes in to play in every element of your site, and relevant backlinks and keyword relevant content are both important for improving your rankings. Google and the others want to see that your website has tightly focused information on a specific topic, and that pages and links show a certain level of relevance. The more focused it is, the easier it will be to rank well.

3 Seo Techniques To Climb The Search Engines
There are many tips and tricks that you can do to increase your search engine rankings. First of all, do not underestimate the power of achieving high rankings in the search engines. It does not matter whether it is in Google, Yahoo! or MSN Live!. High rankings can give you tons of free-targeted traffic to your site. More than your server can handle! For example, for one keyword that I used to optimized which is "lose body fat", it got way up in MSN and it drove 5000 unique visitors to my site! I must admit, that was a fluke and I did not know what happen. My point is, getting up high in the search engines is a long-term investment that you must put some time and effort in.
I am going to share some 3 seo Techniques with you that have produced great results for me. You might have heard it before or might have used it but if you have not, these 3 seo techniques might be some golden nuggets for you.
Seo Technique 1
Include a relevant keyword term into your title H1 tags or H2 tags. For example, if you are optimizing for the keyword weight loss, another relevant keyword term generated by the Google keyword tool is "fast weight loss". So, in your H2 title, you might put "Awesome weight loss tips and techniques for fast weight loss". This technique has produced good results for me when I was optimizing for the keyword "how to lose chest fat" for my website www.Lose-fat-tips.com. It is currently number one or two in Google.
Seo Technique 2
Search engines spiders read from left to right. Just right click on a web page and see the source code. It is organized from left to right. So, I suggest that you place one keyword in the very bottom of the web page within the body of the copy. Place it naturally. You can place it like "www.MyWebSite.Com brings you How To Lose Chest Fat" if the keyword that you are optimizing is "how to lose chest fat".
Seo Technique 3
Another famous and very effective technique is to have your keyword in the main title of your web page. Within the H1 tags, make sure you place a keyword. Some seo experts mentioned that it is no longer important to make sure your keywords are in the meta keyword tags and meta description tags but in the meta title tags, it is extremely important. Go and make a search in Google and you will see what I mean.
I hope that these 3 Seo techniques benefits you and can help you get more free targeted traffic. Frankly speaking, seo tips and techniques changes very often and it is very important for entrepreneurs like us to stay current. There are many effective seo tips out there that you can utilize. Make sure you use all of them to optimize your results.

Is Your Website Search Engine Friendly?
Everyone want to have an Internet presence today, but that website won't do you much good if people don't happen upon it in the rankings while they are Googling or using another type of search engine. While the science of SEO is a complicated one due to the complex algorithms used by search engines, there are a few basic steps that you can take to ensure that your website is search engine friendly. Some of them, like using keywords and back links may seem fairly obvious, while other methods may surprise you.
Content or Graphics?
Fortunately, you don't have to give up cool graphics to provide sufficient text, as long as your text is well written and interesting. Search engines don't really care much where the text is as long as it is there and well written. Creating good text may be essential for SEO, but an attractive site will be equally important in enticing potential customers for your business. Use graphics to pretty up your site, but use them with a degree of caution. If the graphics or tools you choose tend to slow your download, you may defeat the purpose. The best rule of thumb is to make your site as attractive as you can while still including high quality text and ensuring the site runs as efficiently as possible.
Navigation Needs
When people check the search engines, you want them to be able to find more than just your home page. And once they arrive on your site, they should be able to navigate through it quickly and efficiently. There are many reasons why other pages from your site won't come across as search engine friendly. There are some tools in JavaScript that can prevent the search engines from finding easy navigation, although Google is currently working to overcome this problem. This doesn't mean you have to do away with JavaScript completely; simply find other navigational tools like text links to make the process easier. A cookies requirement will also turn off the search engines, so turn off the cookies instead - at least when it comes to SEO.
Using a Professional
There are plenty of companies that have all the expertise necessary to provide you with maximum SEO to run your online company efficiently. Businesses like BreezeGoSEO can offer expert services in everything from keyword use to most efficient linking tools, so your business gets maximum exposure. While it may seem like one more expense to hire a service, the results that you see in your website traffic may be well worth the cost. If your website is not getting the kind of results you were hoping for, contact a professional who can diagnose the problem and make the necessary changes. And if you are just starting out, contact one of these companies first to ensure your business puts its best foot into cyberspace right from the beginning.
Is your website search engine friendly? If not, perhaps it's time to take a second look at your site and see what you can do to increase traffic and build your business.

Relation between Google PageRank and Back links
Many people are now struggling to obtain the elusive target of a high Page Rank for their websites and facing a wall they cannot climb. The wall is of course, how to get the best Page Rank. Are Back Links the answer to this dilemma? If you work hard enough creating Back Links around the web will this have a direct positive impact on your website Page Rank?
Page Rank is a complicated method of determining how useful your website is to users based on a scale of 0 -10 (ten being the highest). Your Page Rank will have an affect on how Google places your website when a user searches for related keywords. Naturally, the better your Page Rank is, the higher your website placement will be and the ultimate goal is to appear top of the list when a potential customer searches for your keywords. Many people are now using Back Links extensively in order to produce positive Page Rank results. The results of Back Linking can vary depending on quantity, frequency and associated Page Rank.
Back Links are created by having a link to your website on an external page. This means you need to get other people to link to your website. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen overnight and it takes a lot of work to create an extensive range of Back Links. The amount of Back Links Google can find that point to your website will tell Google how highly other people rate your website. The more Back Links you have out there, the higher your Page Rank will be. Back Links are not the only factor for Page Ranking so you should ensure you develop further marketing and SEO methods for your website on top of an extensive Back Link building program. Things like Meta descriptions and SEO content will also determine how relevant your website is when a user searches for certain keywords.
There is no solid definition of how many Back Links you need to obtain a certain Page Rank. Because there are other factors it can be difficult to pin a Page Rank down, some pages may have few Back Links and still have a high Page Rank number. Regardless of this, a website with more Back Links generally tends to achieve a higher Page Rank and as long as the Back Links are achieved properly, they can have a definite positive affect on your website Page Rank. In addition to the overall quantity of your Back Links, your Page Rank will depend on the increase of Back Links you achieve each month. It has been shown that a steady flow of Back Links created will help you to maintain your current Page Rank. This means you will need to steadily and consistently provide Back Links to your website on external sites.
Your Page Rank will also be affected by the quality of your Back Links. If a high ranking website links to you, Google will deem your website to be of importance and value to an already prominent website. This means you will get a terrific boost to your Page Rank from every high quality Back Link. The way in which Google determines a website Page Rank has long been an elusive piece of knowledge and the design of it has changed considerably over the years, however the basis of the system remains constant.
The quality of your Back Links can also have a negative impact on your Page Rank. If the links are part of a "Bad Neighborhood" you can experience a drop in your Page Rank because they feature a Back Link to your website. It's not just a case of putting as many links out there as possible; you also need to consider where your links are going. Websites that use illegal means to achieve a Page Rank such as hidden links, hidden content or excessive keywords will have a negative impact on themselves and those associated with them. If you remove any links to bad neighborhoods and successfully request webmasters to remove your links, your Page Rank will be positively affected.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Ranking - Achieve more with less
There are billions of websites on the Internet and every website owner wishes dearly to see their website/page rank in SERPs (Search engine Results Page) for particular keywords/phrases, if not at the No.1 position, at least on the first page.
Most website owners read some ebooks and online material on SEO tactics and try to implement the methods and tactics themselves. Some do succeed with proper implementation of methods and regular and continuous SEO. But most of them fail due to the fact that they do not implement the methods and tactics properly or continuously. Many website owners, after continuous failure, and resulting frustration, hire or contract with a SEO/SEM company or SEO Freelancer and let the professionals do the job.
But does this really work. SEO is not an exact science and there are no specific tried and tested methods and tactics that have been scientifically proved to work. The Google algorithm calculates millions of parameters for a website/page to assign PageRank and nobody is sure what these parameters are. Neither does Google inform the public about the methods and tactics that can be used for ranking and achieving Google PageRank.
Although Google does not inform the public about methods and tactics, it does have specific guidelines which can be followed to achieve the coveted Google PageRank and ranking in SERPs for keywords/phrases. There are many such guidelines, but one of the most important is to acquire Back links for the website. Back Links are links on other sites that lead to your website. But that does not mean that you have to acquire Back Links from any website. Google guidelines state that the number and quality of back links is important.
But you should also take care to see that the Back Links come from good, content rich, theme related (websites with content related to your website), higher PageRank websites, and not from bad neighborhoods like Adult sites, gambling, online pharmacies, etc, unless your site is related to Adult content, gambling, and online pharmacies. Acquiring thousands or even a hundred thousand Back Links from unrelated, low PageRank, or bad neighborhood sites does not help your website achieve PageRank. What is required are a few hundred good quality, high PageRank, thematic Back Links. Most website owners just concentrate on acquiring Back Links, no matter where they come from, the PageRank of the page with the Back Link, and improper anchor text and Link text.
Although acquiring theme-based back links from content rich sites is important, as is the PageRank of the page that has the Back Links, the number of links leading to your website/page is important too. Acquiring a few Back Links from content rich websites is not enough to achieve ranking for the website. Nobody knows for sure how many good quality Back Links will make a site rank in SERPs, and Google is not telling.
Therefore that leaves the website owner or SEO professional with just one option and that is to continuously work on acquiring thematic Back Links for the website/page until the desired PageRank and ranking for keywords is achieved. The reason for continuous SEO is that Google does not assign PageRank and ranking for keywords immediately and takes a month or two to assign new Back Links that have been found around the World Wide Web, to your website and in turn realign the PageRank. Google regularly assigns and deletes Back Links to your website/page. Therefore SEO should be a continuous process to increase Back Links, PageRank and ranking in SERPs. Besides the Quality and Quantity of the Back Links, the anchor text of the Back Link is important too.

Adsense advantages and disadvantages!!!
Google's AdSense is a superb revenue generating opportunity for small, medium and large web sites.
Some webmasters are designing brand new sites specifically for serving AdSense text ads. (It's against the AdSense rules to design a site purely for AdSense, so you'll want to include a few affiliate links or sell your own product, too.)
AdSense allows you to serve text-based Google AdWords on your web site and receive a share of the pay-per-click payment. AdSense ads are similar to the AdWords ads you see on the right-hand side at Google when you do a search there.
AdSense is having a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry. It's often much easier to generate revenue from AdSense than from an affiliate program.
Weak affiliate merchants will die faster than ever.
If you're a merchant running a lousy affiliate program, now's the time to improve it FAST.
AdSense's advantages:
AdSense is simple to join.
It's easy to paste a bit of code into your pages.
It's free to join.
You don't have to spend time finding advertisers.
Google provides well written, highly relevant ads - chosen to closely match the content on your pages.
You don't have to waste time choosing different ads for different pages.
You don't have to mess around with different code for various affiliate programs.
You're free to concentrate on providing good content and Google does the work of finding the best ads for your pages from 100,000 AdWords advertisers.
It's suitable for beginners or marketing veterans.
AdSense provides simple, easy-to-understand stats.
If you have affiliate links on your site, you ARE allowed to add AdSense ads. However, with your affiliate links, you must not mimic the look and feel of the Google ads.
You can filter up to 200 URLs, so you can block ads for sites that don't meet your standards. You can also block strong competitors.
Inevitably, AdSense is competing strongly for space on web sites with all other revenue sharing opportunities.
If you own a small web site you can plug a bit of AdSense code into your site and almost instantly relevant text ads that are likely to appeal to your visitors will appear on your pages.
If you own several sites, you need apply only once. This makes AdSense much simpler than joining a bunch of affiliate programs.
As you can see, I'm really keen on this revenue sharing service.
Disadvantages:
One problem is inappropriate ads. You don't want spammy junk advertised on your site. Google's standards probably aren't as high as yours. You can filter out 200 URLs, but in some industries that won't be enough. The stats Google supplies are inadequate. They're easy to understand at a glance. However, they don't tell you exactly which ads people are clicking on, or which keywords are involved. That's frustrating. Also, I'd like to be able to identify and block ads that have very low payout rates, without doing a lot of sleuthing and messing around.
The ad panels say "Ads by Google" - free advertising for Google. You don't earn anything if someone clicks on that link.
The minimum payout is $100, which is regarded as too high by sites which don't receive much traffic. That won't worry experienced webmasters.
Also, sites that want to display AdSense ads may not include "other content-targeted and/or text-based ads on the pages displaying AdWords ads." However, human beings review the sites. Rejected sites have been able to appeal successfully.
Another disadvantage is that Google doesn't allow you to share your stats with other webmasters. The AdSense Terms and Conditions say:
"Confidentiality. You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google's prior written consent. 'Google Confidential Information' includes without limitation: ... (b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to you by Google..."
That's really weird. Web site owners need to be able to share such information and discuss successes and failures.
A big disadvantage of the service is that Google doesn't say how much its AdSense partners will receive. You'll just receive an unknown share of the revenue.
Only a company with the goodwill and respect Google has earned could get away with such a cheeky offer.
Google says:
"How much will I earn through this program? The AdWords ads you are able to display on your content pages are cost-per-click (CPC) ads. This means that advertisers pay only when users click on ads. You'll receive a portion of the amount paid for clicks on AdWords ads on your website. Although we don't disclose the exact revenue share, our goal is to enable publishers to make as much or more than they could with other advertising networks."
So the only way to know how much you'll earn is to try it and see. If you want to bail out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.
Don't put all your eggs in the AdSense basket. If Google discovers fraudulent clicks on ads appearing on your pages, it can dump your site from the service, and refuse to pay you all revenue owed. Some webmasters who claim total innocence have had this happen to them.
Google has made several changes to its AdSense FAQ, clarifying varying things. For example, it IS possible to apply for separate accounts for separate web sites. I've done so, and checked with Google that it's OK in my case. Read the rules - they look ambiguous to me. If in doubt, ask first!
Some time after the launch of AdSense, Google added "channels" which improve the tracking. I strongly recommend that you experiment with these.

How to increase the AdSense income through?
AdSense program can be done. The key to making it happen is to increase the AdSense click through rate (ctr) on a site. This means turning your traffic into visitors on advertisers’ web sites.
In theory, creating an increase an AdSense click through rate (ctr) is a fairly easy thing to do. Making that theory work in practice, however, requires a little time and energy. like as www.googleadsense-empire.com.But, if the AdSense click through rate (ctr) is increased on a site, the money making possibilities can be quite surprising. In fact, many people who have mastered the art of working their AdSense click through rate (ctr) to their favor have left their day jobs far behind.
So, learning how to increase the AdSense click through rate (ctr) will be key. Let’s look at some of the ways to achieve this.
•Search Engine Optimization. This method of making a web site heavy in highly searched keywords can work well to generate traffic. To make this pay off with an increase in AdSense click through rate (ctr), this particular method plays a numbers game. The theory is the more traffic, the more likely a percentage of it will be willing to click through. This is a fairly sound theory for increasing AdSense click through rate (ctr), but it takes some time to master. Contents need to be relevant and engaging to keep people on the site long enough to entice them to actually click through to the ads. Content should also be rich in keywords while still offering good information to increase the AdSense click through rate (ctr).
•Make ads blend in. One of the ways to help increase AdSense click through rate (ctr) numbers is to make sure the ads look at home on a site. This means blending fonts, colors and borders for the best overall look.
•Reduce outgoing links. This is a fairly good way to increase AdSense click through rate (ctr) conversions. By limiting where viewers can go next, this theory can work to increase AdSense click through rate (ctr) figures by increasing the changes for people to actually click through.
•Try different ad sizes. This is another way to help increase the AdSense click through rate (ctr). Experiment to see which kinds of ads get the best rates and stick with those. for more details www.guardadsense.com.Learning to increase the AdSense click through rate (ctr) can take a little time, but it’s an effort that can really pay off for web site publishers and owners. The idea is to make a site relevant and enticing enough that visitors will want to click through on the ads to learn more about potential products and services related to the content.

How to write great blogs and watch your AdSense dollars add up?
How can I make sure that my account will not be disabled? Google AdSense program policies make no allowances for deceptive practices. The most important thing a publisher can do to ensure the integrity of their site is to be aware of what is happening on your site.
Google has made it abundantly clear not to click on your own ads or ask others to do so. But what about practices a publisher may not purposely carry out?
Make sure that ads associated with Google never appear in an unrequited pop-up. Don't be talked into purchasing traffic for your site that may contain adware.
Respect the trademarks. Don't use any trademarks or logos without their consent.
Don't change the ad code. If you're a pro at html, don't assume you can add your own code. If you're new to html, simply copy and paste the offered code. Don't mess with it.
Provide a good environment for advertisers and a positive user experience. Don't try to be deceptive in any way. The rules may sound strict, but believe me, for more details visit to www.google-atm-machine.com protecting the integrity of the AdSense program is in your best interest. After all, a positive, honest AdSense program means more money for all of us.
Useful books about the program for users of all stages
Do you need to buy a book to use Google AdSense? Not necessarily. Google's support page has a wealth of information. But you might consider it if you want to read a personal account of an AdSense wizard such as Eric Gigue or say, for more details visit to www.adsense-income-exposed.com if you want to learn more about HTML. Who let the blogs out: A hyper connected peek at the world of Weblogs by Biz Stone has a lot of information on blogging as well as information about the program. The following is just a few books you can find at Amazon on the subject:
Make easy money with Google: Using the AdSense advertising program by Eric Gigue
The Google AdSense handbook by Angus McLeod
Google Advertising tools: Cashing in with AdSense, Adwords, and the Google APIs by Harold Davis
Top-Paying Google AdSense and Adwords keywords for pharmaceuticals (In Digital Format) [Download: Adobe Reader] By W. Frederick Zimmerman
The complete idiot's guide to growing your business with Google by Dave Taylor
Google AdSense: How to write great blogs and watch your AdSense dollars add up
The best thing about blogging is that there are no rules. You can write about anything you want. A self-publisher's dream! There are some things you can do though to maximize your profits. Narrow your subject. Don't just write about shopping. Write about shopping for antique dresser drawer pulls. Write every day. Have a blog at more than one site. If you develop a readership, you're more likely to increase your profits.
Write about something you know or want to know or at the very least care about. If you try to write a great blog based on a 'hot keyword' yet it's something you could care less about, you'll likely not stay with it long.
Experiment and see what works for you. You can write based on your own opinion or something factual. You can review a product or service or a movie. Read other people's blogs and notice how many reads they're getting. Above all, have fun. After all, it's free and if you're persistent you'll see your dollars adding up.

How Many Visitors Do You Need To Make A Profit?
The internet is full of articles, ebooks and hype about using blogs with Google's Adsense program to make money. The formula for success, it seems, is simple. You blog, place ads, get traffic, visitors click on the ads and you get paid. The question many people want to know is, can we make a profit?
This question has been difficult to answer, in large part, because of the Google Terms of Service for Adsense users. Although the terms have recently been loosened somewhat, users were long prohibited from sharing personal information regarding their success levels and other key statistics that might have provided prospective for-profit bloggers from developing a clear perspective on the profit potential available.
If you are curious about whether or not you can make blogging with Adsense a legitimate moneymaker, it is worth conducting this relatively simple exercise. The results can give you an idea of whether or not it is worth your time.
First, determine how long it will take you to build your blog. Consider the set up time and the time necessary to do initial promotion and to write at least ten to twenty starter posts. We will say our preparation time is fifteen hours.
Second, estimate how much time it will take on a weekly basis to do additional promotion and to add at least two new posts. Multiply this figure by 52 (the number of weeks in a year). For this example, we will set promotion time at 156 hours (3 hours per week).
Third, add preparation time and Promotion time. This will give us an idea of the total time required. In this case, total time is 171 total hours.
Fourth, investigate the average value of an ad click in your niche. You can use the Overture bid tool, easily found online, to get a reasonable idea of the value of each click. In order to make your projection “safe," reduce that number by half. This yields PPC, or “pay per click." Let's say the bid tool says clicks related to our keyword are worth about forty cents. Our PPC is .20.
Fifth, determine how much your time is worth. Do you feel your blogging time should generate at least $10 per hour? $20? This is a matter of personal preference. We will assess the value of our time at $10 per hour for this exercise.
Sixth, assume a click-through rate of eight percent. This is a low figure, as many blogs can generate click-through rates approximating 25%. Click-through rate is expressed as CTR.
Now it's time to perform the critical calculation. We need to determine the required number of visitors necessary to produce enough money to make the process worthwhile. To find the number of visitors required you need to do a little algebra. You multiply visitors (unknown) times pay per click(.20) times click thru rate (.08) which will equal how much your time is worth (10) times total time required (171).
You don't have to do the algebra, the number of visitors would be 139,200. In order to make the process pay, you will have to drive 106,875 visitors to the blog over the course of one year. That translates to approximately 292 visitors per day, on average. Obviously, that is a very “doable" number based on the amount of time we have set aside for the process.
So, for our example, blogging for bucks with Adsense is a winner.
Perform these calculations based on your own unique circumstances and you can determine the viability of earning money with a blog and Adsense.
