Linkbuilding is a very important factor in search engine optimization. Why? One of the major factor Google Search results work on Links. Without links, you would really get have a hard time ranking. These are tips to build links I compiled from my own experience and authority sources.

1. Pay for a directory Review. Or Pay for the Inclusion. Yahoo! Directory

2. Submit to free Directories. Yes, free directories. Even PR0 sites have weight.
3. Join webmaster Forums There are some forums that can set up your feeds so that it can be read from the forums. There are also some that allow you to put signature links.

6. Get reviewed by blogs

   Wordpress, PhpBB and other softwares have thousands of links pointing to their site. It's because of the link to the software's website is left on almost every software installation.
8. Set up a Squidoo account. You could put a link back to your site.
9. Request a link from other blogs or websites. I might be sound wierd but it works.

11. Write the article of articles People almost always read the most talked about article. People link to this excellent article. Guess what? It's on your website.
12. Create a tutorials section. Guess why I started writing my own PHP and HTML tutorial section.
13. Create a buzz!! Make something that will be talked about. That's certainly no secret. Post about it on forums and tell everyone what's so incredible ( information, free downloads, etc ) on your site.
14. You should LinkBait. You would start with how to make sure fire headlines . You proceed to creating contents with hooks.

15. Yahoo! Answers. Answer some questions that pertain to your niche. You put there your link as the reference.
16. Submit to article directories. You would need to find article sites that focus on your niche.
17. Bookmark your sites.

18. Sponsor a good cause. No good deed is left unpunished. Try to give to non-profit causes. This will be talked and written about.
19. Comment on Blogs. You would need to find blogs that are related to your topic / subject or niche.
20. Create top lists. Everyone's so into top lists.
21. Reciprocal Linking. Well, you should do this moderately.
22. Give awards. This would get you a link. Imagine a website saying, "we got this omega-excellent-magnifico award from your site", then link to you.
23. Create a contest. People would definitely link to you if you play your cards right.
